Nancy Katherine Clifton Pellicer is a 1964 graduate of St. Augustine High School where she was active in a variety of student activities. She attended and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Art Education in 1968, and then went on to teach art in both Florida and South Carolina. The Nancy Clifton Pellicer Scholarship is offered to a SAHS student in the fine arts (drawing, painting, sculpture, etc.) in recognition of that student’s demonstrated ability and promise for producing future contributions to the world in the field of the fine arts. It is anticipated that the award will be offered to a student at the rate of $2,000 per year, for a period of up to four years, pending satisfactory yearly progression toward an undergraduate degree. It is the intention of the contributors that the award be based on a student’s ability, financial need, and future promise.
